I'm a self-proclaimed mental health advocate who has dealt with mental health struggles for most of my life. Writing has been one of the ways I've made sense of it — and one of the ways I've tried to help other people feel less alone in it.
I'm also a former Division I student manager for a men's basketball program and a former athletic communications assistant, with a niche for writing that first took hold my junior year of high school and has been growing ever since.
Today I write from Newton, North Carolina — long-form essays on the Wondrous blog, personal reflections on mental health, and fiction, starting with my debut novel Brotherhood.
